The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful first-person shooter Call of Duty, has died in a car accident in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.

The tragic news was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.

The renowned video game developer passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a highway in LA on this past Sunday, as reported by.
